Vision Statement
To make terminated pregnancies unwanted today and unthinkable in future generations.
What We Do
The Pregnancy Help Center is a 501(c)(3) organization offering free pregnancy testing, options consultations, limited obstetric ultrasound, and other free services to help clients make the best decision for their future. We provide accurate medical information, someone to talk to, compassion, and most of all…hope for our clients.
The Center is licensed by the State of California as a California Community Clinic and is the only licensed medical clinic in the South Bay with a pro-life mission to change the hearts and minds of clients and the community towards a life-affirming point of view.
As an organization we believe:
- that all human life is precious
- that human life begins at conception
- in sexual purity/abstinence before marriage
- that prayer and faith in God are necessary to accomplish our mission
History
With much determination and foresight, in the early 1970’s a small group of caring and compassionate women founded a crisis pregnancy helpline. After a few years of helpline counseling, the women felt that a meeting place was needed for face-to-face counseling, free pregnancy tests, financial and medical referrals, and information about abortion and an office was opened in April 1976. We became a licensed medical clinic and changed our name to the Pregnancy Help Center. In the ensuing years, we began offering prenatal consultations with a physician, prenatal nutrition education, STD testing, and now our newest service, limited obstetric ultrasound testing to verify a viable pregnancy. All our services are free and confidential.
At the Pregnancy Help Center, we strive to treat everyone who walks through our doors with kindness, compassion and a consistent, caring manner.
